This page explains the product’s core data approach. Read it together with the current Data safety disclosure in the app store.

1. Product purpose

A lightweight open-source utility that adds physical keyboard layouts to Android.

2. Core data approach

The app cannot read what you type, collects no personal data and works offline.

AlpWare Studio aims not to request personal data that is unnecessary for the product and to process sensitive content on-device whenever possible. Rather than making an absolute “no data is ever collected” claim, the current release and store disclosure are authoritative.

3. Permissions

  • Android device with physical keyboard support

Permissions are requested only to provide the related feature. You can revoke them in operating-system settings; some functionality may then stop working.

4. Third-party services

Google Play distribution may process data under Google’s own policies while delivering the app. Because in-app third-party services may vary by release, the store Data safety disclosure is the authoritative current source.

5. Retention and deletion

Locally stored data can be removed with the app’s deletion tools or by clearing application data. In releases that provide cloud, backup or account features, the deletion controls shown in those features apply. Support emails are retained only as long as legally and operationally necessary.

6. Children’s privacy

The product is not designed specifically for children. Contact us if you believe personal data relating to a child was submitted inadvertently.

7. Rights and contact

For requests under applicable privacy law, including KVKK and GDPR where relevant, contactcontact@alpwarestudio.com.

This notice is provided for transparency; store disclosures and product behavior should be verified separately before every release.
